Superhero Evolution First Hour Guide — What to Do First

Guide verified: August 23, 2026

Your first hour decides how fast the next ten go. This first-hour guide walks the exact order of operations — clicking, first hero, first boss, first Rebirth prep — so nothing is wasted. Verified for the current patch August 23, 2026.

10–25 minFarm Start City clicks and unlock more heroesBuild the Power you need for the first boss

40–60 minHatch your first pet, prep toward Neon DistrictStarts the pet collection and next Power gate
Why this order

The logic behind the first-hour order

Clicking comes first because it is the seed — no Power, no heroes. The hero comes second because a single unlock multiplies everything you click afterward. The boss comes third because Wins are the only currency that feeds Rebirth, and banking them early sets up an easier endgame.

Rebirth deliberately comes last — later. Prep it, but do not reset in your first hour. The tier list and calculator exist so that when you finally Rebirth, you do it with the right hero and pet ready to carry the multiplier. The single most common first-hour mistake is Rebirthing too soon and wiping Power before your tools are in place.

Avoid

First-hour mistakes that cost accounts

  • Rebirthing before you have Cosmic Slime or a strong hero
  • Buying cosmetic items while your hero is still Rookie quality
  • Waiting for codes that do not exist yet — play, and check later
  • Ignoring the Friend Boost that stacks extra Power
Common questions

FAQ

What should I do first in Superhero Evolution?

Start clicking for +1 Power immediately, then open the Store and buy your first hero. Clicking is the seed of everything — Power buys heroes, heroes make clicking worth more, and those clicks win you Wins against the Thanos boss.

What should I spend first Power on in the first hour?

A hero — never a cosmetic. Even a second Common or Uncommon upgrade multiplies your click output immediately, and that damage speeds up every later world. Cosmetics can wait until your first win is banked.

Should I reroll my hero in the first hour?

No — bank your Power and reroll cash. A starting Rookie Hero clears Start City fine, and currency is too rare to burn before you know which rarity is worth chasing. The tier list shows which targets are worth a banked pile.

How far should I get in the first hour?

A focused first hour reaches the Neon District Power gate with an Epic or better hero equipped and your first pet egg hatched. If you are slower, that is normal — the plan above is the efficient path, not a race.

Should I check for Superhero Evolution codes in the first hour?

Yes, once — but expect none. A brand-new game has no verified codes yet, so do not stall. Open the codes page when the developer starts dropping them, and redeem fresh codes before long farm sessions.

Can I skip the first boss in Superhero Evolution?

No — beating the Thanos boss is the only way to earn Wins, and Wins are the currency that feeds Rebirth. The first-hour plan deliberately muscles through your first boss kill with SKIP so you start banking Wins early.
